Reorientation of main axis

The property is a town house with a sea view, set on a very steep slope. This can be seen on the right, before our redesign.

It was important that the main axis of the garden reflected its new layout, its changed shape and the relocation of seating areas.

The path now leads to an extended seating area, with an additional 3 metre width. Due to the nature of the soil, new footings were required to a depth of 5 metres (16 feet). The final result has created a new view across, not down, the garden.
