Camouflage - a novel
approach
In the case of this
garden, the view was marred by a line of electricity posts crossing an adjacent
field.
What was required was a
delicate, relatively unobtrusive approach that enhanced the garden without
blotting out the rural views.
The answer was to add 1.8
metre (6 ft) poles in strategic positions, wrap these in wire netting and train
honeysuckle up them. Elsewhere, groups of poles formed a climbing frame for
roses.
This garden was
subsequently approved by the National Gardens
Scheme. |
